I had never seen this for a regular meal over the last 2M flying miles. (i have NEVER ordered a special meal; regularly select one of the standard choices)

Thats the difference.

If this is the new policy, pretty easy to work around. (I dont fly to eat...happy to eat whatever is left over in F. )
