Travelling on a non-immigrant B visa, I have been entering been entering BKK with ABTC almost every month for nearly three years through both the Fast Track lanes and also the ABTC/Diplomatic lanes located inside the two main immigration halls, both departing and arriving, and I have never once had an issue. It is sort of surprising to hear that you are having a 50% failure rate.
