I was understanding from kaka that airport upgrades would earn in the upgraded class rate, and I understand the opposite from Tokyoite. Am I missing something here?

I'll be earning on Qatar so that's a 6 points difference between Y and F, which can mean something to keep status at the end of the year. That equals to what I earn with 2 eco CDG-LHR tickets.
