Had a five day stay for a political meeting.
Good convention hotel, but housekeeping is still spotty (one night of the five the room was not cleaned by 5 pm and I had to call it in to make sure I had not been overlooked.)
Decent M Club. Names/rooms were checked against a master list in the mornings, but not at night during my stay. The M Club experience deteriorated the last two days when a large youth volleyball tournament was held at the adjacent convention center. Either club rooms were oversold or the +1 guest rule wasn't enforced as the M Club was overrun by parents and youth volleyball players morning and night on Saturday and Sunday. The normal all day/night casual snacks available on the weekend (peanuts, chocolate covered pretzels, etc.) were gone by late Sunday morning and not replenished. Management was aware of the issue.
I would not stay at this hotel if I was a tourist, especially a first time visitor to DC. But it is a good hotel for meetings.
