Why have these gone rapidly out of fashion on BA?

I know BA may have taken them out on the A321 and new aircraft don’t have them fitted but last week was the first time in ages that I’ve seen the new safety video and the moving maps. Not so long ago, they were deployed on every sector that had them, now more often than not we have to listen to the painful manual safety demo. The moving maps are also missed on longer short haul sectors.

Anyone know why BA has fallen out of love with them?
