as noted, you book that on ba.com through the book with avios link on your baec homepage.

just note that Howard Long is talking about an Avios & Money booking, not Part Pay with Avios which you asked about originally. See : D!'s summary about the differences. For 1) which you asked about you earn normal avios and TPs for your booking, for 2) which Howard Long is describing it is a reward booking so you do not earn anything.
