I understand that the awards cannot be applied to a promo night like the card anniversary free night but that it can be applied to points award nights.

I have an award night from the 5 brands qualification, and an award night from the card anniversary. I have a 4 night trip to the Manchester Grand Hyatt at the end of July. The Manchester is moving from cat 5 to 4 when the changes take place in March.

I am possibly planning on making 3 separate reservations...1 night from the brand qual, 1 night from the anniversary, and then 2 nights booked on points.

My question is this....If I call in and have these reservations merged do you think I'll be able to have a club access award applied to the entire stay because of the points nights or will they more than likely deny that?
