Have QR also dropped the final 2 aircrafts on order then? I thought they were originally going to take 10 A380s, but (if I'm not wrong) they've stopped at 8?
As far as I know they originally ordered 10 A 380 's all of which have been delivered and are in service now. The last one being taken in April 2018. So if QR stick to the 10 year service aspiration we may have until 2028 on the last frame. That said if running costs are viewed as too great it may mean they will phase them out sooner given 10 frames were delivered over a period of 4 years. I suppose a lot depends on what second hand market there is for them , which currently is not too great
