My husband and I both silver members booked a trip for 4 passengers all adults. Long haul. Same flights. On the return leg my husband and I are travelling business class while my son and his friend travel in economy. It appears all the silver benefits will not apply because BA need to make two separate bookings. Not my fault. So the two boys get no extra luggage allowance, have to pay for their seats and cannot use the business check in or fast track security. I think this is not in the spirit of the executive club as all members on the same booking should get the benefits. Again not my fault that I am spending more on the return leg than the boys - students who cannot afford the upgrade. Any advice?
