JR Kyushu said onboard sales on Kyushu Shinkansen fell to 30% of the peak period. Same time JR Kyushu will terminate Oshibori and candy service on Kyushu Shinkansen Green Car. JR Kyushu has several tourist trains such as Yufuin no Mori, and those tourist trains will continue to have attendants and sales onboard.
I bit sad, but always so many better meal boxes and other snacks at the stations that I seldom buy any food on train.
