Interesting experience: recent weekend stay at the Rowan Palm Springs, ca (Kimpton); first night was a Chase Anniversary night, second IHG point redemption. Chase Anniversary night specifically shows the following in the confirmation:Service Charge:$40.84 (USD)No such entry in the point redemption stay. Service charge appeared on the bill for both nights, front desk confirmed today that one will be refunded.
