Well, the e-card used to be the only place to affirm your status expiry date. Though that's no longer shown .
I am currently going through fun & games with Honors to repair the IT update damage which has wiped all my membership data and has computer-say-u-Silver fish. Seems that my 2018 e-card I downloaded is one of the few way Honors will be able to confirm I was Diamond.
For that reason I would be asking / requesting for physical card or e-card plus expiry date of status. Never know when it'll come in handy.
