The KQ J experience was lackluster, at best. Cabin is that standard, vanilla outfit you see in Ukraine Air and Turkish Air. Boring and almost Soviet in design. It just doesn’t feel right in a plane with the pedigree of the 787.

Service was equally lackluster — no water bottles, no blankets, FAs were lukewarm, food was bland and not even up to Sodexo standards. The paper goods in the lavs were
simply the worst I’ve ever used, and I’m not confining that statement to just airlines.

Fortunately, I was exhausted and slept for most of the trip. It’s not an airline I would choose to fly if I had other options.
