Depends on what you are looking to do. There’s a beautiful Ritz Carlton there (nice Marriott next door) if you’re looking to spend time at the pool / beach. We took a really fun ATV tour one day- you can do self guided or go in a group. We did self guided and had no issues. There’s a casino at the Ritz and other places.
What you don’t see in the travel brochures is that there a large refinery in Aruba and it’s not all tropical beaches and bars there. It didn’t bother us but some have commented that it surprised them. it’s not a sleepy Caribbean island if that’s what you are expecting, but we had a fun time there and I know others who have too.
Take a look at St Marten too. Recovery is coming along nicely. Great restaurant options and beaches there. Stay on the Dutch side. The French side is nice but gets a little sleepy, especially in the evening.
