Just throwing out a tidbit for this thread -- there is a small chain of booze "recycle shops" called Liquor Off (yes, seriously) that buys and resells all kinds of alcoholic beverages, ranging from cans of beer to bottles of high-end whiskey and champagne. It is run by the same company that runs Book Off (used bookstore) and the equally amusingly-named Hard Off (used electronics store). Lots of interesting vintage/collectible stuff in there. The closest one to central Tokyo is in Koenji, a couple of stops out of Shinjuku on the Chuo Rapid Line
