I've just done DUB (well, I've factored in a little layover).
Came in at 204 as usual, across the tarmac, up the steps in the building, along some corridors that allow you to see the departure gate and then through passport control.
Then you have to cross the entire baggage hall, go upstairs and through flight connections.
Then you get security screened.

To me, it seems no quicker than exiting as you exit half way through the baggage hall and use the same security channel anyway.
Annoys me having come in from JFK at LHR, having to re-clear security there whilst remaining in a secure area and then having to re-clear security yet again in DUB.
I'll probably go through a 4th check when connecting later at LHR from CTA to domestic.

My bag got a secondary swabbing as well, but at least it was about 29mins faster than at MAN.

Unless I'm missing something?
