I booked a JL award using QF points. I'm travelling from London to Melbourne and did notice before booking that the actual routing is LHR-HND/NRT-MEL.

Obviously this isn't ideal but it's at a time of very low availability and I was just happy to find a routing in J.

The time between flights is just over 4.5 hours which I realise is OK but will pass quickly making this connection and I'm aware of all the mechanics.

I'm curious though that JAL does not seem to offer this combination for sale...if I search for a LON-MEL routing it gives me nothing. If I try multi-city I can get to selecting the NRT-MEL flight but after that throws an error saying it can't price the itinerary.

Does anyone know what the published MCT is for JL Int to JL int in this scenario? I found a few figures on the JAL website but all were in sections referencing Domestic <> International transfers.
