Our family of 3 is traveling on two reservations. My wife on one and my daughter and I on another. I was able to do an instant points upgrade on my wife’s reservation. My hope is to get us all upgraded at some point, but would at least like my daughter and wife to enjoy first. From a chat online with EK it looks they usually just open up 2 rewards per flight.

So my question is this, will EK allow me to take the reservation my daughter and I are on and split it in to two reservations? My thinking, correct my if I am wrong, would make it easier to upgrade one of us if a single upgrade becomes available?
