Not able to cancel via chat (3 month old card)
This was a new experience for me, and I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced the same. I tried to cancel a card that was opened a little over 3 months ago, and the chat rep said I would have to call in. Here was the response: "I can see that for further closure of the card it will require some additional verification over call. if I will provide you the number will you be able to call?," Normally, I would keep a card open for more than 3 months, but not much longer. Just curious if the short time frame is the reason they want me to call them.
