I would be careful about booking this cheaper fare if you want MPC credit and Asia miles.

Is it an Air china Flight number and a Air china operated flight or Air china Flight number and Cathay metal ( ie CX XXX sold as CA XXX)
I think Unless there is a CX flight number on the ticket you will not get MPC credit but you should get Asia miles regardless

Cathay pacific experts should be able to give more advice
