On my flight from LHR to AMS the other day, there were two young guys, brothers, in front of me in the first row of Economy Comfort. One of them had actually been sitting in my seat when I arrived, and he moved without complaining into the correct seat before the other brother showed up. They seemed and acted a bit like adolescents, and it turned out one of them was travelling on his 18th birthday. After a moment, the FA from business class appeared with a tray containing two Heineken beers, a small KLM porcelain cup, some snacks and a card. I thought that was the nicest gesture I've seen for a long time, and the two young guys seemed really touched by it.
