Initial thoughts:

- Great hardware, convenient location to the airport and high-speed rail station.
- ...... service. Superficially, it's there… the butler getting your suitcase from the taxi and carrying it up to the room, but when it matters it falls through in a myriad of small ways
- English comprehension is terrible
- Bar is so smokey as to be physically unpleasant to be in.
- We ordered Meituan, and the hotel kept the food in the lobby but didn't bother to call the room to let us know it had arrived. Only an hour later after we spend 20min trying to figure out what happened to our food did it become clear what had happened.
- In-room dining is outrageously overpriced.
- Room rate included airport transfers, but hotel refused to deliver and quoted RMB500 each way.
- Did get a very nice standard suite upgrade to a high floor with a large corner suite. Hardware is very nice. Other than the upgrade, a fruit plate (no note) and breakfast, no elite recognition. Wasn't offered a welcome amenity choice. Maybe I should try to claim the guarantee credit.

Next time, I'll check out the Grand Hyatt.
