I will be flying AC MIA-YUL and hope to take an earlier flight than what I booked that day. Is it best to present myself at the check in counter to make this request and pay the 100$ fee if there is room on the earlier flight or should I attempt this at the gate? I am AC 50K.. is standby an option? It is a tango K ticket.
