There's an area 10min walk with a street packed full of bars and restaurant and pretty active. There is plenty closer to the hotel too.
Nothing wrong with the club lounge per-se, but it was small and not particularly well decorated, with okay offerings, mediocre food. It was also quite busy with your usual old and loud Australian men with local girls crowd.
Received some kind of corner suite upgrade.
