Mercure has brand standards? My stays with the brand made me think it was the dumping ground for nonconforming properties in useful locations that didn't otherwise fit into another Accor category. Kind of like Hilton Doubletree without the chocolate chip cookies.

I'm middle class American enough to be ll over the empty mini fridge as long as it still worked properly. Love having the option to grab some soda, a few yogurts, maybe some cut fruit, and a quart of milk from the corner store and have it on hand for snacking as needed.
