So I just want to confirm... if Expert Flyer is showing Z coded seats available under the description “Upgrade with DL SWU/Global Upgrades & Fare Class” does that mean I Can use the GUC on that flight? I’m currently trying to book LAX-AMS-LAX on 9/15 and returning on 9/24. According to EF there are 6 seats in Z on the LAX-AMS leg and 9 on the AMS-LAX leg. However, I’ve talked to 4 different DL agents and I’ve got 4 different answers when it comes to how you use the certificates and what fare class needs to be available. It’s incredibly frustrating (Welcome to the club. I know). Maybe I’m in the wrong? Someone please help.
