Food in Heathrow B lounge Kids Zone
For the first time ever I just looked through the glass to see what was inside the Kids Zone area of the B lounge at Heathrow T5. As well as thinking the wallpaper depicting a cockpit was pretty cool I also saw a jar of biscuits and a basket full with bags of crisps. Admittedly there were some small oranges and apples, but given everything in the news about child nutrition etc is BA right to leave such 'help yourself' items in there? Don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily agree with all that's in the media, but do parents find this goes against other good practices elsewhere? Does it encourage you not to sit in that area as a family?
Would anyone else think it would be better for BA's image to replace it with some items from the salad bar instead? Saying that, I'm not sure what's contained in the kids meals offered in flight. I don't have children myself, so couldn't really care too much, just got me thinking...despite having never actually seen anyone using the area!
