I understand the issue s Sue is from European airports you can only check in bags if you get the email or text.
Whilst it’s no guarantee I’ve received the email on 100% of my last departures from MAdrid and Frankfurt.
Ah, that I didn’t know. Sort of beats the point of the fare class though if you only have one small’ish item.
