I would echo what everyone else has said. My wife travels to Bangkok 6/7 times a year and always takes with her a supply of Jungle Formula deet. Don't worry, we have never had any issue whatsoever over many, many trips. She sometimes carries a 100ml in her hand luggage or she packs it in her suitcase (if over 100ml).
