Personally I would look into taking the 8AMish AA non-stop (738) or flying in the night before and grabbing an inexpensive hotel or use my pts, or even a stop via DFW if the price is right. My last choice would be the RJ only if everything else isnt workable time or $$ wise

3 hrs on a RJ even in 1st isnt something I relish and as others have said I wouldnt chance UA just in case I hit Irrops and there goes 1st on CX, at least AA will step up and take care of you
