Just seen the new BA 100 ad on TV ( Cant find a thread on this but please move or close if there is).

Anyway usual sleek stuff and BA hyperbole. I found the line " We love you Britain" utterly disingenuous given its lack of presence and certainly no long haul routes from any where other than London.

The 100 year old thing is also pushing credulity. KLM and Avianca are the oldest and second oldest airlines still operating and I have seen nothing in my research that provide even a tenuous link to BA being close to 100 years old.
