I will fly way out of my way to avoid this old configuration. UA FC seat is crappy! and overhead space in that cabin is normally full of crew bags! I did one of the last FC flights from Seoul to SFO, and was majorly disappointed. Particularly given that i could have used SIA suites for nearly the same price at a less convenient time.
It is by all means superior to any of the 2-4-2 seats, right? And I guess more often than not there is still plenty of space in the overhead cabins. A lot more space than the new Polaris offers.
