I gave them the ticket numbers but they never really mentioned what that showed on their end
I need to call AC to get the PNRs of the partner airlines. Normally I would get these information at the end of the booking but before we even knew the credit card payment was accepted (Chase fraud alerted it twice for a measly $550 being 2x $275), the phone connection was dropped. When I called back I was told Aeroplan system just crashed. Nothing could be done, according to the agent who said my booking was working on by a supervisor before system went down. Yet 15 min later I got the email from Aeroplan on the eTickets issued. I called back a few hours later to make sure things were in order and asked for all partners PNRs.

No, AC confirmation does not show partner PNRs, but the agents can see them in the system. I think for US airlines, only AS would show partner PNRs, just from my memory but all programs agents can see the information in the system. Hence my habit of getting the partner PNRs after reservation - in fact even before ticketing, such as AA's that you can hold a reservation for 5 days, if there are partners involved, there would be PNRs generated.

My "rude" awakening is that Saudia site is not as fool-proof as I thought, (or for that matter, many thought the same way).

So a Big Thanks to you for telling us the details.
