CX161 (777-300ER) Seat 12K Depart HKG 2130 hrs - Arrive SYD 0850 hrs (Business)
just fyi CX811 goes from Boston. And lands at 6am not 7pm. So....may want to check your itinerary!

Actually, technically NO. I'm amazed this is posted incorrectly! The HKG-SYD flight is not classified as short haul by OW rules. OW rules, posted around here too many times to count, indicate Longhaul F to Shorthaul gets F lounge access. But, shorthaul is defined as 5 hours or less. There is NO stipulation that longhaul F to longhaul J gets it.

Of course....in reality, CX is known to be generous with folks flying their own metal connections. So I think it's likely the OP gets it. But the rules say NO unless he/she is OWE. And I think we're had people with both experiences post here. It's not guaranteed, not entitled.

And this also assumes the OP is departing same day as arrival. It seems that way but not technically said by the poster in question, and given how many people are on tix with multi-day stopovers posting here, you never know. IF that flight is arrival day +1 (or later), then the answer is "no" for sure. Whereas CX will more likely be generous and extend F lounge access if it is same arrival day as departure. But unfortunately as I say above, not technically entitled.

I will add, people sitting in 1A get two extra F guests..... Joke. The seat numbers don't matter.
