There's just too many Wally's in the world that are left unexploited, and also too many people buying real legit MO's for them not to sell them. Even in the California metro areas (LA, SD, Bay Area) I have been able to unload in $500 increments if I pick my spots right.
This month alone I have done over $40k, $35k in a biz trip to the Midwest, and $5k at home in CA.
This is not exactly right. It all depends on where you are located. There are certainly more HTs and more gamers in heavy populated metro areas. We all know that. If I live in NYC or Chicago, I can't drive two hours to the remote areas to liquidate 15 GCs. The economics just does not work. Also remember those MO freaks have gone through the AmEx BB/Serve rounds. So MO is pretty the only game in town. And now this is close to dead for them.
Sure, if you live in the remote areas, such as Alabama, Mississippi, Kansas etc, you are in luck. Not many people play MS games there. This is known. We can't move away from metro centers to remote areas just for MSing purpose.
