Hi Everyone,

Reviving this older thread as relevant to my situation. However, if there is a newer / better thread, do let me know.

I am FB Platinum and mainly fly to US, Africa, and Asia from Europe. However, 6-8 months into the year I am usually re-qualified for the following year. Hence I was looking for a complimentary network, and have decided on *A, based on availability for my destinations.

Now I would ideally like to status match allowing me to be *G so I can have lounge access and priority in airports. If match is not possible I could do quick # of flights to gain reasonable status.
  • My hubs are DUS and AMS
  • I generally fly mid priced economy, mainly long haul routes but at times with connecting flights in Europe.
  • From looking at https://www.wheretocredit.com/ it would seem UA would be the best option, since they tend to be good at crediting LH miles for example.
  • Flying A3 not really an option as it requires a route over their network, which is unlikely.
Your suggestions and wisdom is much appreciated!
