Thanks for the current sate of affairs. I know there is a LionAir/Thai LionAir/Batik Air connection but how is Malindo being absorbed?

Didn't experience anything as bad as you and other posters flying DMK-KUL in the back twice and KUL-HKG in the front cabin. Have KUL-DMK-KUL booked up front ~MYR 750 r/t ain't too shabby.
