I am a multi-million mile flyer and currently 1k. I am not the guy that complains about upgrades being non-existent, but after flying 200k last year on UA and 100k on Alaska it's clear to me there is some upgrade shenanigans going on at United. My upgrade percentage is less than 30% on United and on Alaska more like 90%.

I even have tried flying at off times to try and increase chances with no success. Honestly, I don't know why I do it, but I will be at the next million in 64000 miles then I think I'm gonna jump off. I just don't see the upside anymore at least for me. Not complaining, I'm just done, beaten down and at 6'11" my knees are tired.
