Recently I was rerouted from (MCO to DTW-CDG) to (MCO to CVG-CDG) continuing on to MAA, due to weather related problems. When the airlines rerouted, they apparently had to delete the entire onward flight itinerary and I lost my preferred seating from CDG to MAA. I ended up in a middle seat. I also lost my special meals request. I had a good flight but wonder whether computer programming is that primitive!
By the way, the three French ladies who were seated in my row, took the pillows and blankets, when they got down at MAA!
