(1) Why is my 15-digit Miles & More service card number (that I was assigned when I first registered for the program) different than the 15-digit service card number that's displayed on my Miles & More online account?

I've tried logging in to my account using my original service card number, but it doesn't recognize it (I can only log in with my username and password).

Will this cause issues with posting miles to my account?

I want to be sure before I complete a 5k minimum spend (for 60k Lufthansa miles) on my barclaycard Miles & More Mastercard (I entered a different service number to apply for that card than the one that's displayed when I log in to my account).


(2) Does the Miles & More program offer "saver awards", similar to United?

I'd like to book Lufthansa F from Frankfurt to NYC. But, the award chart shows that it would cost a whopping 170k miles! I'm assuming this is the cost of a "standard" F award.
