Obviously, I didn't see those or I wouldn't have done it -- the award I was topping up for with Hyatt points (normally, transfering to airline miles is a bad use of points) is for an award in April. There's virtually no chance the award will still be available in 6-8 weeks. What lossage, given that credit cards like Amex manage to do it virtually instantaneously.
