Although I know we are discussing 747's of which I too am fond of the front row when travelling (have never slept so well) and my agent knows to put me there, I was completely turned off recently when travelling in First Class Row 1 on the 777. Due to its proximity to the galley and the restrooms, it was one of the noisiest 1st class seats I have ever sat in. I even wrote a comment to BA about my frustrations. On a 777 sit in row 2 or 3.
