Worked in both directions. This was in Dec 2017.

CX889 JFK-YVR
CX859 YVR-HKG

CX838 HKG-YVR
CX888 YVR-JFK

I needed the extra miles as I think I requalified for AA EXP with just 200 EQMs to spare.
