The personal SPG Credit Card from American Express with the $95 annual fee will be renamed on February 13, 2019. It's becoming the Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card from American Express — for existing cardholders. New applications will no longer be accepted. In other word, if you want this card, apply now. Don't wait.
The $450 annual fee SPG Luxury Credit Card, which will become the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant Credit Card. American Express will continue to accept applications for it. Also, Amex will continue to offer its SPG business card, just with Marriott Bonvoy branding.
