In fact, new cards with new benefits were introduced by Marriott and both financial institutions using the old loyalty program names. You can still apply for these cards under their old names — but not much longer.

On February 13, 2019, the three loyalty programs names will be combined under the name Marriott Bonvoy. The credit cards will be rebranded. There will still be multiple cards, but they'll all be branded with the Marriott Bonvoy logo — and the points will go to a Marriott Bonvoy account.
