Lordy me but it's a tedious and messy business though. The site claims I had 98 IHG stays over the last 12 months, but sifting through the site's list of overlaps and corrections to get the number of nights involved is a task I'll pass on.

My travel office is clear that 110 IHG work-related nights were paid for in those twelve months. Precisely 101 of those nights were spent in IC beds.
Add in weekends, private trips and holidays (including a handful of redemptions) and we are up to an estimated 170 nights across all IHG brands.

So half my nights in 2018 were spent in IHG hotels: the majority of them Intercontinentals.

So it was odd to find the following line in my account today:

Downgrade Kit for Downgrade from Royal Ambass 0 pts

Can't wait to see what the kit contains...... Possibly a guide to applying for a Marriot/SPG status match
