I've looked at this resort multiple stays after checking out of the W after 2 nights when it first opened. One of our challenges is often the living spaces for these villas are outside or they are studio setups and we look a separate living and bedroom area. The photos on the website actually make the rooms look quite dark.
Have looked at the Conrad but I loathe Hiltons.
I am curious to try Vana Belle next, even though they are all essentially studios again. I believe you can order F&B anywhere in the resort and you will be served.
Give it a try. There is a lot of negativity about this resort for some reason, but I still feel it is the best by far on Koh Samui.
I like resorts that are unique, and along with that often come various quirks and design characteristics inherent with building a spectacular resort into a place like this cliffside location. I fear that someone having never tried this resort could get the wrong picture from this thread, and miss out on the excellent experience it has to offer.
