Just a heads up that I had called AMEX to get my "tap to pay" or "contactless"-enabled SPG Preferred Card so I could use it in the London Tube instead of buying an Oyster Card last year.

Now I just open Apple Wallet on my iphone XR (double click the "power" button to bring it up) and choose my Chase Sapphire Reserve which works with contactless readers even though the plastic CSR card itself is not "contactless"; using it through Apple Wallet/Pay makes it a moot point.
