2) "Most significant carrier" rule applies.... i.e. AC's (standard) allowance, 2 pieces. The 3rd piece, not sure. If it's on the e-ticket, yes. All my AC + JL (domestic) tickets say "2 pieces", including the JL segments.

No. But it doesn't matter. The label is just for show. You will (should) automatically get priority handling on AC as it's determined by the automated baggage handling (and I.T.). Since this is Japan, quite possibly your luggage might be manually re-tagged with the priority tag at HND.
