Fantastic review. Makes me feel like I took all my food/room pics for nothing

I'll add the following:

Food/meals
- Those special dinner nights for $180pp/night as mentioned above specifically say that discounts don't apply. So it's interesting that the $135pp/night maldivian night does include a platinum discount
- I found with the pre-meal bread and entree sizes, portions sizes were good and you could easily have leftovers. They also pack and bring leftovers directly to your room which is great
- The one "lunch" item that I found was good value was the seafood pizza. I think it was like $32 and it easily served two. We had it by the pool in a cabana and it was great

Activities
- We did the cooking class during an afternoon and found it to be great. It was $130 pp but they bring out so much food for you to cook. And the chef you cook with is great and highly attentive. We were stuffed and have enough leftovers to be fine without dinner that night
- We also did the Sunset Cruise on the yacht they have there. It was also amazing. The food portions are miniscule but you pay for the view and the experience on being on a private yacht. Below deck there are two full bedrooms and two bathrooms. For folks that go on yachts all the time, maybe not a big deal but I really enjoyed it
- Sad to see you missed out on the private island dinner. That looked good but very expensive. We also noticed a lot of couples doing "private beach dinners" where they lay out all these glowing balls on the beach and set up a private table and have a private server serve you. I'm not sure the cost of this but I don't think I have paid any premium for it. Everyone can see you and walk by you as you're dining on the beach. We found sitting at the tables at Fire on the beach closer to the water was a similar experience
- The gym was actually decently equipped with bench/squat rack (although guided). The trainer that was always there was great though and always encouraged people join the free classes. We did sunset yoga which was free and great even for beginners. Other classes like boxing, Pilates and this trampoline type one looked good too but we liked to stick to our workout routine
- Although they had a beach volleyball evening event, which we weren't able to make, I wish they had a beach soccer one too. I saw they had beach soccer nets and I saw some guests kicking the volleyball around a bit. On such a small and secluded island it would be tough to organize as a guest so the hotel arranging it would be cool

Staff
- Overall the staff were great. They covered all major languages to cater to the various world travelers which was great. Service at breakfast and dinner were highly attentive with any minor mistake quickly addressed. My fiance got a wrong drink order and they comped it for free (think it was like $20 too!). We even saw staff playing beach volleyball one afternoon so it looks like they can have some fun too
